Can someone please tell me how a toddler can be so cute and messy at the same time?! The kids’ bathroom gets really dirty, really fast, which causes me to have longer and more intense cleaning days. There has to be an easier way to have a clean bathroom all of the time without dedicating hours to it!

Well, the solution is with 1 tool and 3 ingredients. You can have your bathroom clean in under 30 minutes if you are consistent with your cleaning. This method is proven to eliminate dedicated days for deep cleaning as well as the need for buying all kind of products just for the bathroom, you would use what you most likely already have underneath your kitchen sink. My reasonings for this is because I want the products to have multi-purposes so that nothing goes to waste.

I keep a caddy with all of the ingredients in each bathroom’s cabinet to scrub the showers, sinks, toilet bowl, and it’s bases. I can’t remember what life was like before this method, it is that easy and efficient. It really does make a difference to do a bit of cleaning each day! So, here is my recipe that will get you a clean bathroom in under 30 minutes!

How to clean a dirty bathroom

Step 1: Sprinkle baking soda all over your tub, shower floor, toilet bowl, toilet base, and bathroom sink. Find a happy medium ratio, you want for there to be enough to scrub the area clean.

Step 2: Sprinkle laundry detergent over the same area.

Step 3: Spray the area with hydrogen peroxide or white vinegar. It will start to bubble and lift the dirt.

Step 4: Use a scrubbing brush or (to work smarter not harder) a drill with a scrubbing brush attachment and go to town!

The #1 tip to a clean bathroom all of the time is to spend time cleaning… all of the time…in a sense. Hear me out!

I have an infant and toddler while trying to run a lifestyle blog, along with a photography, and massage business. So my hands are pretty full, the last thing I want to do, is to have a dedicated day to cleaning the bathroom. So spending 10-20 mins most days has proven to eliminate most deep cleaning days. There’s no need to do it everyday if that bathroom doesn’t have a high traffic. Having this as part of my routine for every other day works best for me.

By using my cleaning method, I have 3 clean bathrooms every single day. It use to take 30-60 mins to clean each bathroom, once I started this method, it has cut my time down to 20-30 using a handheld brush, but once I got the drill attachment, it takes 10-20 minutes max!

Now it’s time to think of other areas of our home where I can use this same method!!!!
